- Card games: Card games were for those who loves to gamble. Games like One and Thirty( a predecessor of blackjack), the Ruff and Honors and the Maw
- Board Games: Popular board games include chess, backgammon, Nine Men's Morris, and Alquerques, an ancestor of Checkers
- Elizabethans were known for their prowess at sports. Elizabethan sports include archery, early badminton, billiards bowls, early golf, game ball hammer throwing, wrestling, tennis, etc.
- Children's games in Elizabethan times were simplistic, just as they are today. Hopscotch, Blind Man's Bluff and marbles were among the favorites.
